Tired Eyes

by eve   Sep 6, 2007

Every time I look at the mirror
I see your eyes instead of mine
I get so scared and full of terror
So alike, that they're so fine
It's just a saying old people used to say
Sometimes I don't believe it, sometimes I may
Every two who are alike, they're meant to be together
But I know what's there for me
A black curse or a miracle, then shall it be!

Then I closed my eyes and opened them again
But the picture in her place stood still
I gazed at them and counted to ten
Looking so tired as if they're ill
The tears screamed for their freedom
But the Winter Queen is prisoned in her kingdom
She can't get out, scared to be seen
What if their look were very mean?!
A bad judgment on the queen's beautiful eyes
However, they're pure like the rhythm of the skies
Afraid that they too can see his eyes instead of hers
They all want to know their truth, but who dares?!
They look like his eyes, that's why she hates them
But only if he asked, she would surely tell him!
