Digging for Sapphires

by JaM   Sep 7, 2007

I've been through a few,
looking for the best,
It's not him, nor you,
let's try the rest.

I want one that sparkles,
with a shine so bright,
One that compliments me,
makes me feel just right.

I'll keep on digging,
until I've found what I want,
They try so hard,
even tease and taunt.

I don't want something dull,
I want it hot like fire,
I'll keep digging through diamonds,
until I find the saphires.
