Forget Regret

Sometimes it seems so hard to hold
Within your mind your heart and soul
A thought that died without a debt
Inside the time of life's regret.

You tend your life with love and care
Your heart and soul you try to share
But deep within your mind you see
A lose that spans eternity.

No faith in things you cannot find
No hope to hold it's left behind
Within the heart that strings along
Without laughter without song.

Dark nights find your heart in tears
Stars wrestle with the break of fear
Against the eyes that show the soul
Among the thoughts the mind has stole.

Now time has wasted as you tarried
Along the path of love you carried
Dark thoughts and fears inside your breath
Tuned fine by life and your regret
