Don't fall in love

Did you ever fall in love with someone,
but knew they didn't care?
Did you ever felt like crying,
but knew you'd get nowhere?
Did you ever looked into their eyes,
and said a Little prayer?
Did you ever looked into their heart,
and wished that you were there?
Did you ever see them walk away,
did you see them turn and go?
Did you whisper "God I love you",
but never let them know?
You'll cry cut to misery, and almost go insane,
'cause nothing in this world, causes so much pain.
If I could choose between love or death,
I think I'll rather die.
Because love is great yet hurts so much,
and the price to pay is high.
So when I say "Don't fall in love,
you'll get hurt before its through",
believe me I'm the one to know,
'cause I fell in love with you...
