Miles of Stony Tears

by JaM   Sep 7, 2007

For miles and miles on end,
my tears flow like a river,
on the surface is water,
beneath is grey.

A while back I was cursed,
to never love again,
since that horrible time,
my heart has turned to stone.

All pain that arises,
symbolizes my heart,
the tears that fall,
are little stones.

If you walk along my river,
that doesn't end for miles,
you are walking along my life,
walking miles of stony tears.
