Girls

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Sep 7, 2007

She says, "Girls may come and girls may go
But I really hope you see
That there will never be a girl
Who's half as real as me"

She hates to admit it
But she's scared of losing you
She never dreamed she'd find someone
Who's this too good to be true

She's wishing for the time
She's hoping for the place
She cherishes each day
That she gets to see your face

She loves when you're around
She thinks of you when you're gone
Just the warmth of your smile
Seems to clear up all her wrong

She may not be a beauty
But she wants you in her world
She tries so hard to show you
That she's honored to be your girl

So when you're thinking of the others
Please, save some room for her in your mind
I know you may not see it
But a girl like her is hard to find
