I Reasoned.

by Sarah Ann   Sep 7, 2007

The sun kept setting, setting still
His heart was made of stone - The chill
Uninvited took control until,
I reasoned life is short.

The light kept dimming, dimming well
Attraction grew on him - his smell
And soon thereafter I had fell -
I reasoned I should go.

The pain of leaving wouldn't rest
Perhaps I never gave my best,
What made me think he was impressed?
I reasoned very wrong.

The sun kept setting, setting still
His heart was made of stone - The chill
Uninvited took control until,
I reasoned life is short.

    A well written read indeed.
    I reasoned you are right,
life is to short no doubt.
    Thank you for sharing and
