Blind To The Pain

I'm blind to the pain
That pours down on me like rain
Blind to the hurt
That my heart alerts

I don't wish to see
All that which hurts me
I don't wish to be blind
But yet that I hide behind

Everyone knows
And it really shows
They know what I do
But they just don't have a clue

Why I turn to the blind
And why I hide behind
Why I wish not to see
Everything that hurts me

For all the people I will say
That until the one day
The one day I can take it all
That day that is sure to fall

That I will stay to the blind
And until then I will hide behind
For if I take it now
I will go down
