How To Play

by Lateesha   Sep 8, 2007

I once said I'd never love
That I was ok alone
But then I was given a gentle shove
And love hit me full blown

I hate you, I hate you
Can't you see
I love you, I love you
What you do to me

You make me so very happy
I fly every where I go
Little romantic things so sappy
You've got me out of control

At the same time
You make me so sad
Given me an uphill battle to climb
And keep breaking my heart just a tad

I hate you, I love you
I can't make up my mind
I see red, as I also see blue
You make me cruel, as well as kind

I love you so much
But hate you just the same
This love for you hurts
I thought I knew how to play the game

I guess what I'm trying so hard
So hard just to say
That you were my heart in this game of card
It's just that somewhere down the line, I've forgotten how to play
