If Love Was Gone

If love was gone, how would you get through life?
How would you feel if you lost your husband or wife?

What would you do if your parents just left you all alone?
Would you go look for them all on your own?
Or would you rather leave the answer to remain unknown?

What if your friend wanted your friendship to end?
Would you not care or would you try to ask why?
Would you start to cry?
Or would you walk away without saying goodbye?

How would you feel if everyone you knew just disappear?
Would you hope to be next or would you quiver in fear?
What about the ones you hate?
Would you feel better if they went to hell or through heaven's gate?

If love was gone, will you still be alive?
If nobody liked you, will to try to survive?
Or would you let yourself slowly die?

What if all this came true?
What if life was trying to give you a clue?
That next time you hurt someone, it just might happen to you.
