Distance Apart

by Lex   Sep 8, 2007

Memories are fading,
and lives rearranging.
I'm losing my grip,
and I fear I might slip.

I don't understand,
so please take my hand.
And show me a world not so cold,
that has rainbows with colors more bold.

And I'll say once again,
I'll give anything.
If you would just be,
my everything.

And I know I barely know you,
but yet I wish I could show you.
Just how charming I can be,
when you become my everything.

This distance isn't so far,
when we're connected at the heart.
And I want you to know,
to me you are beautiful.

And now I'm falling for you,
there's nothing else I can do.
But sit here and wish on the stars,
that I could be there where you are.
