Something came over me

As my temperature began to rise
a felt chills going down my spine
as i reached the temperature of boiling water
i got colder so i went to the covers to get warmer
the bed now called out my name
one eye drifted away and my other eye did the same
the longer i stayed the colder it seemed to get
a bath full of water and ice i would never forget
i couldn't fight back because my body was to weak
freezing icy cold water began to speak
teasing me because i was to beat
but i got my revenge as that icy cold water began evaporating my heat
i despised them but all i said was please!!!
i wondered in my head why are they doing this to me??
but i later learned why this tragedy came to be
i sickness had befallen this fragile body and wouldn't let me be free
but the worst of it was that prison of despair!!!
