I'm going to walk away
Like I don't care
I'll try to forget the memories
That we share

You can break my heart
But it won't bleed
Forget it, it's over
You done the deed

You said it was over
Now let it be
Tears of sorrow
You won't see from me

I don't feel the pain
Inside I'm numb
I'm not going to think about
What we could've become

Phone calls stop
And the photos fade
But these memories
Still remain the same

Trapt in my own mind
I can't escape
These chains of memories
I just can't break

    This poem is so beautiful. I read it and memories of me and my ex started rushing through my mind. I can relate to this piece in so many ways. I loved how you kept almost every line in this poem the same length and rhymed it all up. Great job! Please keep up the awesome work. 5/5 <3 <3
