Trunks Loses Gohan

by Libby   Sep 9, 2007

Tears and rain flow down my cheeks,
As I stumble toward his broken body,
Falling to the ground, I'm on my knees.
They left him lying face down in a puddle,
I shiver violently as I lift his head out of the mud,
Whispering his name over and over,
"My koi"
Deep inside my something snaps,
I'm shaking with anger, passion and grief.
He was everything to me, and they took him,
Master, mentor, best friend, lover,
I stand up and start to scream his name,
Over and over.
Power rips through me,
The rain continues to pelt the ground,
My heart has been torn in two,
I know nothing except my pain,
The emotion that fuels my hatred.
The colour of my hair flickers and settles blonde,
My eyes turn green,
He's dead.
Energy surging, ground trembling,
My ki level rises higher than ever,
I am a Super Saiyan,
But it has come at the price of his life,
A price too high, I think
As I gently gather his limp body in my arms,
"My koi, my hero."
