Love Again

Love Again

I'm refilling my soul with hopes and dreams.
I'm using my tomorrows to sew up the seams.
Each night ends with prayers that I'll be okay.
I take a deep breath when I start a new day.

The pictures of you lie underneath my bed.
When I wish to look, I look away instead.
I know that the answer is in giving up
Knowing my limit's, when enough's enough.

I'm closing the book on our sweet past.
Beautifully painful, and too good to last.
But I'm not the kind to lie in the dirt.
I've dusted off the lies, pain, and hurt.

Above the grey clouds you left in my sky
Are rays of light saying I still need to try.
Baby, on us, I think I've put an end
And I'm really looking to find love again.

Wow. I really, really like this.
The flow, rhyme, everything was flawless.
    It's amazing..

Gah, I'm sorry it's so short.
    But, the poem is GOOD.

    Keep it up. (:

This was beautiful. The emotion was deep and showed that you have the strength to realize that it may not work out. Which is awesome. Your flow was perfect as was the rest of the peice.
    Great job!
