Like salt.

by Mr Rhee   Sep 9, 2007

They taste like salt, you know. These tears rolling down my face. So unlike rain, when it touches my lips from time to time. The difference between tears and rain is, when it's your tears, you can almost count every single one.

They're part of us. They make us who we are, as people. As individuals. As a race. Each and every one of us. I can't stand it. I wish it would all stop. For me.

I so wish I couldn't taste these tears anymore. I could so give up being part of the "race." I would give up being human...willingly.

I want to give it up. I would stop being me. I would be....something else. I would have less to worry about. Everything would be less complicated.

No more tears, no more need to feel. No more feelings, no more hurt. No more hurt, no more anything.

They taste like salt, you know. These tears rolling down my face. I want to taste the rain. I want to taste the rain.
