Puzzle of the mind

Puzzle of the mind

Puzzle of the mind
lets see what it hides
as we open that door
I plan to go to the core.

It has such a great plot
I can tell from all these thoughts
as we wonder inside
I point out the dark and light that collide.

We see it battle the heart
a never ending war that ends and starts.
Deep secrets have walls
as we wonder on there are endless halls.

Mysteries and questions appear
I see morals and fears
as memories are kept near.

We see what it wants
as it tries to solve its own puzzle of time
the way how to live life

What descisions shall it make
and what path must it take
trying to shape the future today.

Emotions effect every part
Hatred, love, sorrow leave thier mark
Experiences are inscribed and engraved.

They are all here to stay
but minds do not rest or lay.

Always awake dreaming the night
some are pleasent and some a fright.

This is the puzzle of the mind.

Ah, the battle of the mind and heart- what are we to do? that would be a cool dream to have- a walk into ourselves...wish I could do that.
    I wonder, though...
is it our brain that make the descicions or is it our soul?

Idea for this poem is excellent. I think that rhyming seems little forced and that leaves bad impression but all in all great poem, Very original and you created excellent rhythm in this piece. Well done!
