The Endtime Messenger

by RainbowSlider   Sep 9, 2007

Carrying the message of truth and light.
Deformed and demented in the twilight.
With a message clear and so revealing.
That helps me to understand healing.
Jabber-jaw to others she seems to be.
She carried a message meant for me.
An insight much needed to my care.
Hope for my nocturnal nightmares.
"We all need help now and then."
"Its hard to find a trusted friend."
She shines like an icon in my mind.
Helping me where I was so blind.
The vicious cycle is but a loop.
Escapable when we can regroup.
Traditions are meant to be broken.
When love from the heart is spoken.

""We all need help now and then." drew me in. Immensly. Because I always try to do things for myself. So automatically, my relation to the poem made me love it.
The form was great, the vocabulary was great.
Something about it just.. made me smile. The entire time I read it, half of a smile was on my face. And isnt that what poetry is about? Affecting one another?

Haha. I loved this. Amazing job.
