For Kyle Quinn, RIP.

Walking back to your college dorm, having just started a new chapter in your life,
you would have never known you were going to be a victim that night.

less than two weeks in this new environment but it seemed fine,
but you just so happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

after an altercation with others, three men were in a rage,
and once they spotted you on the sidewalk your life would soon end on that page.

they beat you and beat you as you landed on the ground with a thud,
you lay lifeless in your own pile of blood.

a cop saw the scene and called for back up,
but unfortunately it just wasn't good enough.

you were taken to the hospital and soon pronounced dead,
and this chapter of your life soon came to a quick end.

I pray to God those men have to pay so much for their horrifying crime,
for taking the life of an innocent man they soon are sent to hell after time.

the way you had to leave this world was just so vein,
but now you are no longer suffering, no longer in any pain.

although you didn't know me, nor did I know you,
here's hoping you have a safe trip to heaven after all that you have suffered through.

Beautiful and clear... The tone was sad, yet reserved enough to let the reader "breathe". Great job.
