Everyone has a friend,

But my best friend is someone
I can close my eyes and fall on.
He knows my every secret,

He knows how much I need him,
Even after all the tears.
He will always pick me up,
when life and love goes bad.
But my best friend has carried me
through the tragedies I have had.
He listens when I need to chat,
He never misses a beat.
Talking for hours,
When we both know we should be asleep.
Any friend can give advice,
to help you with your journeys.
But my best friend has guided me,
when my judgment was disturbing.
He tells me when he's proud of me,
He tells me when I'm a fool,
He keeps me completely sane,
and helps me keep my cool.
He can make me smile
when everything else is wrong,
But he has me laughing,
No matter what he choses to do,
in just a second or two.
He always understands me,
I don't have to explain a thing.
I just need to think of him
Because I know hes right there
To come and rescue me
When my world goes crazy
My best friend will always be here,
through the pain and through the laughs.
I could not live without him
Because he's my other half.
