Just Another Face

by Rachel   Sep 10, 2007

As you walk into a room
I notice right away
My smile begins to grow
Cant think of words to say

Then I'm walking down the hallway
When suddenly I see
Your gorgeous face appear
And its all quite clear to me

The thing that hurts the most
Is the thought I cant erase:
You cant even see me
I'm just another face

You look at all the other girls
The way I look at you
But I know you'll never realize
That I love you the way that I do

You think that I just want
To simply be your friend
I'd admit that it was more
But its too much to comprehend

So I'll try to keep my distance
Keep living without being seen
In hopes that some day you'll realize
How blind you've always been
