The Other Way Around.

by pseudo   Sep 10, 2007

Feelings have withdrawn,
Confrontation is long overdue
Eyes have met, and passed.
But they're never in my view.

I pass you all the time.
Like now and before
I still can't look you
It's easier to ignore.

But I'm hoping and pleading,
You'll see something more
Yet im still reluctant
That you'll show me the door.

My silence screams more,
Than anything I could say
But muffled by a mind,
That calms them away.

I'm seaching for tranquility.
A place I used to find in you
But awkward quiet tells me
That you and I through

The tremble in your voice
Has left my truth destroyed
In a battle with myself
That will only leaves a void.

In the end, I'll still be looking down,
& You'll be looking the other way around.
