Sleepy Meadows

by Richard Machado   Sep 10, 2007

Cool winds caress my skin;
And, the smell of grass and water spins
My head until I whimper down
Into the soft serenading ground.

So, as the sleepy meadow sings,
With its soft and brilliant wings,
Of its moon-lit blades and petals
May its nectar coalesce its fettles.

And, of the silver waves, a roaring,
Bring the moisture to me; soaring.
And, in this silent nightly meeting,
The winds will give me their last greeting.

The conscious world is now fleeting,
And all the meadow is now sleeping.
I dream of rising with the sun;
And, me, to be, with the meadow; one.

    Vocabulary is wonderful and its quite descriptive. Is there a hidden meaning in this? Because if there if, I'm not smart enough to figure it out, LOL. Anyway, great job, and I have to mention i LOVE the second stanza.
    Keep it up!
