Dance with Me [Monorhyme Rondel]

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Sep 10, 2007

Dance with me Baby, under the stars turned grey;
Look me in the eyes and lie to me one last time --
Catch me if I fall, but don`t let me go on your dime;
`Cuz it`s better living off of the lies that you say.

You save all of the words that I break down and say,
Shove them into my face to heighten your sublime --
Dance with me Baby, under the stars turned grey;
Look me in the eyes and lie to me one last time.

And for the sake of an argument, on a better day --
I work with your lies, trying to find a perfect rhyme;
But I`m all out of pretty poetry to use this time,
There`s nothing left here since I gave my heart away --
Dance with me Baby, under the stars turned grey.

    Ohh, this is love. I like how it's quite bitter, but romantic, too. Heh. I also like how the majority of your poetry is written in fixed styles - it broadens my knowledge of them. Haha.

    Anyway, excellent, dearie. :D
