COMEDY (Sleep Mode)

Everybody has those times where either they can't stay awake no matter what.. or they feel like they JUST woke up. I've felt both of those ways at work. Not a good thing. Actually a couple days ago at work, I was leading a busy kitchen in stress, we were being hacked apart and it was just nuts. Now I don't know for whatever reason I suddenly just zoned out for, but I felt like I had just WOKEN UP. IT was not cool. The next thing I heard was, "Andy!! Dude .. whats next man? Whats next on the list? THIS IS UP!!!! one hundred million menus out there!!!!" yeah, I know I was just like all FUK'D up. I kinda turned and looked at them, all 4 other people in the kitchen looking at me tryna say something but nothing was comming. the only thing I could think of was "Burger" I litterally yelled it out REALLY LOUD. "BURGER!!! BURNING BURGER!!!" I looked at the grill in front of me and saw 9 maybe 99 burgers in front of me cooked and ready. I was REALLY zoned out. I turned to the rest of them again and I said " IMMA GET A DRINK!!!" I said it loud enough I think the whole fuking resturant heard me. I swear they did. Yeah I left at the bussiest time of the night I just left. I ran for the extremily large looking Coke. Just no a side note.. maybe I was drunk? Because the way everyone was looking at me.. and not making any sense.. and the big.. Coke? it just wasn't my resturant. What turned from a zoning out.. turned into a sleeping matter, as I went to sit down in the staff room and enjoy my coke. I kept looking up.. trying to think of something. I couldn't lol Not even what had really happened. actually I fell asleep. (The only shift I ever fell asleep in.) Did I get in trouble.. no.. why? Because I had a migrane.. DAMN those things. those are nuts, my head hurt from the inside out.. all over.. felt like swelling bruises and torture for a long hour before others realized I had zoned out and slept in the back to recover from a mirgane. I got the next few days off.
It's really funny watching people who can't stay awake though. You know your watching a movie with a buddy and he falls asleep. 20 fuking minutes ago he was all like "He dude lets pull an all nighter!!! LETS STAY UP ALLLL FUKING NIGHT!!!" So the only words you can really say then is.. "Hell yes man lets do it!!!" And your both really excited. Until he just falls asleep. Now normally you'd be able to pinch him or dump water on his head to wake him up. But.. this guy just doesn't wake up.. hes out cold.. JUST OUT LIKE THAT. So much for that all nighter huh.
I can remember times when I'd ask people.. I'd be like " hehe.. dude.. is this for real? Is this really for real? Are we really doing this dude? ARE YOU FOR REAL!!!.. " Your going on a roller coaster or soemthing.. watching the best movie or.. I dunno fire works.. but your soo excited you just don't believe in reality anymore.. "I'm dreaming right now.. pinch me someone" you get pinched and just get really angry at that person.. "DAMN YOU DON'T TRY TO WRECK MY DREAM. THAT HURT!!" lol
