Why did you go

If I was able to bring back the dead
You would be the first one to comeback
If I was able to see into the future
I would have spent your remaining time with you
If I was able to stop the unstoppable
I would have stopped you from dying

You cared and loved me unconditionally
You taught me right from wrong
You are the best uncle I have ever had
Amongst all my uncles, you are the one I loved the most
You still are even if you are gone

I just can't understand why?
Why did you die this early?
You still had much to offer, but you died
I wish you were still here
To help me through my troubles and tribulations

You died and left your wife and children behind
But after few months, your wife followed you
And your children were left without mother or father
I now don't feel sorry for my troubles for you to help me
But I feel sorry for your poor children
Amongst them, an elder brother who is stupid and careless

I wish you and your wife were still here
To look after and support your children
And for me to have that privilege of being loved by you
You were still young and you had to go
And still I don't understand why you had to go
I love you, I still do, and I still will
Even if you are gone!
