Crossing the Line

by Never Let Go   Sep 11, 2007

Once i walk out that door ill be gone forever
so tell me not to

once i cross that line ill loose myself in the horror
so please tell me to stay

tell me not to leave
because once I'm gone
i cant come back

so ill linger a little longer here
right here where time will stand still
until you come to me and say what you need to say

I'm waiting by the door i know i should walk through

but not yet
not now
I'm waiting for you

but as time passes ill move into that dark room
the room that is everlasting
the room without pain
without love

please don't let me go there
please come after me
i cant save myself

That was my favorite line, but your opening ones were great too. I clicked the back button because just from looking at how your poem was arranged I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I read those first lines and came back to finish the piece. It was good! It had a strong beginning, and a slightly weaker ending, but it was still very good!
