The End

by Beautiful Chaos   Sep 11, 2007

Lips that don't miss you,
A heart that is lying,
Each moment without you,
Slowly I'm dying.

A lover, a friend,
A piece of my soul,
My calm in the madness,
Losing control.

A hurt that lingers,
Unconfined,
Rips the reason,
From my mind.

Dreams are dripping,
Down my face,
Filled with all,
I can't erase.

A brilliant smile,
Big deep eyes,
All I want,
But now despise.

Love and hate,
Too close to live,
Both bitter ends,
You can't forgive.

Time tastes sour,
Mixed with loss,
With every line,
You dared to cross.

Cementing all,
We'd ever be,
Killing all,
You gave to me.

I loved that, despite how short each line was, it explained so much.

    "A brilliant smile,
    Big deep eyes,
    All I want,
    But now despise."

^^ That stanza was definitely my favourite. Excellent job.

I really love the first stanza of this, and also the line "Time tastes sour", both of these are brilliantly done.
It isn't overly somplex, and I think it really works because of that. Fantastic stuff!
