In a world so screwed up
He happened to choose the girl with a bad case of insecurity
He still believed in romance
And it was kind of cute
The way he looked at her with an indirect glance
He still had his innocence
He was so different
He could send shivers up and down her spine with just his presence
He was more than just a pretty face
Everybody knew he was special
Any girl would kill for just his embrace
But yet she is nothing more than a human
With flaws and mistakes
And broken plans
Because in this game we play
Only the strong survive
I guess what made him so different was that he refused to walk away
But i`m sure sometimes he felt down
When he couldn`t take all this crap
And he`d put his hands to his ears just to compress the sound
After all things aren`t as they appear
Sometimes she`d lie to him
Just to keep him near
So save the questions without answers
Somethings are better left unsaid
Doubts can make us our own prisoners
But his eyes, they where so nice
They`d set her free
They promised paradise
His look was so warm
His voice was so soft
He had a definite charm
It`s a bit astonishing
What he could make her feel
The feeling was so overwhelming
And the record shows
Nothing more
Than the scale of how the feeling grows
It`s a little scary
Never mind if nothing of this makes sense
We can keep it an unsolved mystery
