Seasons of Love [Acrostic]

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Sep 11, 2007

She lays still, hand over hand above her
Ebony heart, counting the beats as she
Admires his beautiful eyes -- bright sky blue --
Shining as the sun sinks into the horizon.
Over the hill and to the right is an old
Naked stop sign, weathered down to read:
"S P" -- the place where he placed a hand

Over her heart and asked her to take the
Fall over the edge of the earth with him.

Love comes in seasons, or so she was led
On to believe -- because once again, obscure
Vacuity got the best of her. With his lies
Edging her to the end, she catches her breath..and falls.

Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title.
