A Silhouette

by Mo   Sep 11, 2007

A silhouette stands by the window
She rebels against the light
as it filters through the shades

She turns her face when I do
and her features are dark
her eyes are too deep

Her looks are familiar
but I cant stare for too long
her gaze brings me closer unwillingly

A silhouette blocks out my sunlight
the warmth has all gone
engulfed by a vacuum of hate

She mimics my panic
the fear vacant in her eyes
a hole of chilling laughs

Her body moves slowly
towards me, ever reaching
her fingers probe as I back away

A silhouette beckons from within me
her features are dull
but her mind is at work

She copies my thoughts
and expels them
frigid memories back to me

Her mind knows mine somehow
her actions are mine all over
her darkness is a side of me

She is my shadow
