Pages

Once she thought that she had loved
And so had scribbled with her craft
Now all those have gone and one have stayed
Yet nothing has been written about the one in place

Peeking inside, words cant just be explained
Why moments together seem empty and vain
A tearful soul trapped in a steel-heart case
Mostly thinks need is greater than love these days

Perhaps imperfections have tainted the glow
Or bruised and hardened the heart's unknown
Deeply captured by fairytale movies and stories told
Bought to sail on two boats

Once again river of dreams has quenched thirsty soul
Too weary from journey and dreading to scatter all loads
Furtively gambles on happiness she alone knows
Yet reality has oak awakening blows

Old lines say she finally found love
But years of pages rhyme that she has not
Now too coward to let go and fears to touch
Coz the pen might write later that actually she never had loved
