The skeleton in my closet

by Marylou L   Sep 11, 2007

My words are unspoken
sadly unsaid

instead of speaking
I'm sneaking

around the bends
the twists and the turns

avoiding you as i can
lying to get away

lurking in the shadows
ducking in the halls

only cuz you wont believe
slap me, punch me, kick me, hit me

do you worst
I'm lying to protect you
hiding to forget you

hope you never see me
hope you never know
this secret that i hold

its folded me in half
ripping me to pieces
its the last thing on my mind sleeping
i dont know what to do
if only you knew
