New York's Palace Place

by HollywoodSmile   Sep 11, 2007

Bow your head
respect those who are dead
we watched in horror
the palaces have yet to be restored

palaces turned to ash
bones charred and smashed
lives taken
souls shaken

cries of terror
where was our error?
two palaces touched the sky
containing thousands who would die

Twin Towers
devoured
The World Trade Center
no more may enter

a palace of peasants and wealthy alike
destroyed without one single knife
a Country injured
so many lives stirred

i will never understand
what kind of man
could kill another
brother vs brother

(this poem is only about September Eleventh. i am only reffering to that, i do not mean to offend anyone.)
