I once knew a place

by HollywoodSmile   Sep 11, 2007

A place once of beauty
a palace like no other
left families without children,
mother, daughter, father, or brother

a place once stood tall
not a building,
but a statue in itself
America is still in mourning

a place once very alive
people flowing this way and that
shinning in the light
of every day and every night

a place once of America
a hole left where it stood
Ground Zero, they call it
id give my life to undo it if i could

a place now dead
