Just a Word

by Unrequited   Sep 11, 2007

Make me whisper
regrets
into your
mouth.
you make me
wonder-
how did we get
lost among
these words
inside
our world?

it's all
nonsense.

my thoughts are
pure,
my heart remains
tender.
will you realize?
open up before
this fantasy
dies?

your
heart is false,
and full of nonsense.

i have drown
myself in this
desire.
now,
your fire
brings me doubts.
the result of
your tears and
absence,
love
becomes
only a word.

your heart means
nothing,
trapped inside
a fading light.

you shall
watch me die,
as you continue
to stare
blankly
into
the sea.
my body
floats,
drowning
in nowhere.

these regrets
fill
your mouth,
and love
is just a
word.

    "...
