My Beans And Garri 1

by John Andrew   Sep 11, 2007

Sitting vigilant guarding this polythene bag, looking front, back, up, down, under the bench and back, as this hungry lion in ram leather
stared focus with an eye of stable-contact
waiting for me to lost contact unconsciously; forgetting the bag.

though i know we had plans for my food stuff
stared at my senses that was difficult to shy off
eyes was intact including my fist in case they come
defending my beans and garri far better that my nation.
