Betrayed

The eyes of the one who looked into my heart and betrayed me
Eyes that have hate when she looks at me.
Not understanding what I really did
Looking into her eyes all I see is a hidden agenda
My heart is in such worry
Her eyes had me trust her
Trusted her with my soul my heart
Betrayed my heart with a dagger threw it
When she told another what I had done
The betrayal hurt so badly to this day
Today I forgive her because she was in pain
Eyes that look at me with such jealously
Jealously that can kill me
Looking into her eyes she feels I took her place
For some reason she blames me
Today I pray God will heal her pain
Today I hope she will learn the truth of forgiveness
