Sorrow

by Insanity   Sep 12, 2007

In a dark room, in a cold place.
I stood far from life's fate.
I looked and against a wall sat Sorrow.
Dark and tall.
Its eye watched as I moved
deep and full of the cold blues
I sat looking at the black form
and a wave ran across my form.
It stood and walked up to me
a draft flowing at my feet
it put out a long dark hand
and grabbed my frozen face
so pale and out of place
it leaned in and to my surprise
there i looked into my eyes....

Strange...definitely strange...it is different and the personification of sorrow contributed well to this piece. I think you mean 'against' rather than 'agents' on the third line. Word choice was effective for setting up this piece though it does have the potential to be better yet as it is, it is quite interesting.
