Loves cruel flames

by Valiantpenguin   Sep 13, 2007

I saw you again,
And I could tell right away,
You've turned your back on love,
And your life is stumbling downhill,
I can taste the depression,
On your sweet cherry lips,
And it's holding our hearts,
As we hold hands,
Tonight I run to my friend,
Crying about you,
Behind your back once more,
If you knew that I cried,
You'd be mad,
And though loves small flame,
Led me straight to you,
Through all the emptiness,
That I fought through,
That had taught me love was cruel,
It became my home,
I begged for you to heal my broken heart,
But your love said no,
So leave me for dead,
Just let me be,
Just kill me tonight,
She dug an icy grave for you,
In a cemetery with my name,
My hearts evil song,
Called out to you,
Ripped your heart out,
And smiled as you bled,
But your beautiful face,
Covered in tears,
Just killed me inside,
Your so beautiful,
One taste of those lips,
And my life has been fulfilled,

But you've been burned into depression,
By loves cruel flames,
So theres no more love for me from you,
And none for you from me.
