Who But Me

by QuietStorm   Sep 13, 2007

From the time I can recall
I wondered who I was.
Then I soon discovered
a soul in search of love.

The path I chose to travel
in search of who I am.
Lead back to no one else,
no one but me again.

So if this sounds familiar,
and you find your on your way,
save your self the trouble
and look the inward way.

No one could fill that empty place,
no one could fill that void,
cause all I had to do
was look within for love.

It took a little while,
it took some time you see,
that all along
the love I've searched
resides in who but me.

I wouldn't trade my plight,
I wouldn't change a thing.
Cause than I couldn't be here,
to let you all peak in.

At last my search is over
my task is far from through,
I came to share a little
it doesn't have to be you.

It took a while for me,
it took some time you see,
no one could pull me through
no one, who but me.
