I don't blame you

by Donovan   Sep 13, 2007

In the beginning I hated you
For everything you put me through
Together we laughed, together we cried
But everything you told me were nothing but lies
I was just the substitute
I was the one for you to use
I hated the way you cast me aside
The way you left me, without so much as a goodbye
But now I realize that it was meant to be
Now I realize that the problem was me
I guess he was better in every way
I truly hope that he makes you happy some day

It might be with a twist, but I can relate, and it is not funny... but look at it this way, you're making progress when you can wish her happiness...

    Really good poem...
