Not Your Remedy

by Tempest   Sep 14, 2007

Can you forgive me for what I've done?
Can you forgive me for not being the one?
I want you, but I can't be there,
For with my past and current life, to you it would not be fair.
I love you but not in the way you want me to,
So leaving and letting go is what I had to do!
Nothing is right, everything is wrong,
This poem is starting to sound like a broken love song.
Nothing is easy, In fact everything is hard,
But I have no choice, For I've already played my last card.
Well my dear I must bring this to an end,
With all my love, signed a forever friend..

It's beautiful! Your lines are great...just when I think it's going to sound cheesy or cliche you make it just the opposite. My idea for your title would be

    "Not Your Remedy"

because you want to be his everything, but you just can't and he needs to see it. Tell me whatcha think!
