Winter Crossing

by Twisted Heart   Sep 14, 2007

A touch of frost has hit my soul
Has chilled my bones
Has left me cold
Inside my heart a winter's flow
Ice pitch darkness
Awaits the snow

A vacant stare from teardrop eyes
Comes quick to shed
Forced alibis
As shadows creep and squat inside
My thoughts are left
No place to hide.

The heart now rises up to breathe
To reach for dreams
and sanity
A summer faith is there, you see
But without hope
It just can't be.

The Winter Crossing seems so slow
Beneath the blanket of the snow.

Beautiful sad penned, well expressed emotions...If you find life is empty, try putting something into it. it would help...wish you have a good weekend dear, take care.
