Flying Angels

by helpneeded   Sep 14, 2007

A good friend is like an angel
That flies over you.
Watching closely over you,
Protecting you from the bacteria of the world.
The bacteria of hurtful words and painful days.
Your halo is the shinning sun,
Breaking the clouds and rain above me.
Your white wings tell me,
"Keep going, I'm here to catch you if you fall."
Your voice, like arrows, rushing
Towards its target,
Hitting my heart,
Everything frozen in time
Everyone at a standstill,
Silent at your existence.
As if we are alone together.
Your ears are the only ones
That can hear these shouting whispers.
The whispers of the lonely, cold night.
Your heart is as bright as the golden sun.
Shining down upon my soul,
I carry your heart with me.
I am never without it,
Cause you are watching over me
Like the night lights of the stars at midnight.
