The Amazing Invisible Female

by NonsensicallyNeurotic   Sep 14, 2007

Those few short seconds in the halls
When I can finally see your face
Make coming to this gloomy school worthwhile
Make me slow my too-fast pace
But you don't seem to know I exist
A typical teary teenage tale
You look past me like I'm made of just air
I'm the Amazing Invisible Female
I only exist on the Internet to you
I'm the only one who didn't know
You seem to be the most popular guy in our class
Which only goes to show
I'm the Amazing Invisible Female
Who's blind to the obvious things
It's just like you, who's blind to me
(Even when I wear sparkly earrings)
Now that I know you, you're everywhere
Yet you still don't notice how I wear my hair
But that's all right, I love you anyhow
I'm used to being invisible now
I'll watch from afar, that's all I can do,
With my friends, who to you are invisible, too
I'll laugh and pretend that I'm okay
For this invisible girl, tomorrow's the same old day
