Pearls

by firexdancer   Sep 15, 2007

Sparkles of a melody in my mind
a chilling song of grief
it tempts me with its unearthly waves
beauty hiding all its teeth

A memory of hope once found
thrust into the snow
you can only hope that where it fell
another life can grow

Blind in the cold curse of white
a beggar slowly stumbling
the gorgeous sunlight piercing eyes
alone in dust she's mumbling

The rain falling like crystal shards
iridescent with their rainbows
so beautiful the frosty air
blood covered by the snows

Sleeping in frozen grave
no longer breath, just ice
staring at the shining pearls
a mocking end to life

    Unique and Penned Beautifully.

This poem was deep and very powerful. You described the feelings excellently. And used very descriptive words.

    Keep it up.

So emotional and deep. Very original idea for poem and you wrote it excellently. I don't like just on line in whole piece, and that is a fourth line in first stanza it somehow doesn't fir. Rest of this poem is fantastic, you entwined superb imagery with amazingly described feelings. Well done!
