You used to be my lover, you used to be my friend.
We used to be in love, but those days came to an end.

You promised that forever we were meant to last.
Now I'm stuck alone day dreaming about the past.

My mind said to go, but my heart said to stay.
Now I have no choice because your some where far away.

In my heart it was always some kind of doubt.
But, it was something about you I just couldn't live without.

Maybe it was something about your eyes or the things that you said.
