Hate

Letting it down,
Letting it go.
Life is impatient,
I'm taking it slow.
Our love is a reject,
A long way to go.
Too much pain to inject,
To veins of low.
You never knew,
The weight you carried.
When you're gone,
This stress gets unburied.
Beneath the covers,
Under the sand,
Love is a burden,
I don't have a grasp of a hand.
To not understand,
What I mean in this rhyme,
Would be as unreal as saying,
Your loves worth a dime.
That would be a far
Stretch of the truth,
When in actuality
I only loved you.
You never loved me,
And I can see why not,
When only wanting to please me,
Setting up your plot.
And now I am left,
With something unclear,
Maybe you hated my love,
Maybe my love is what you fear.
