Long nights, longer days

by Tiffany   Sep 15, 2007

He comes home and it starts again, the yelling and screaming"YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!"
She yells back , word fly, she cries, he storms off
leaving the sister to fend for herself yet again.
A long night full of tears and worries, wishing it would all end, A longer day of pretending every things OK, wishing someone could see the act.
Round two begins,"STAY OUT OF MY ROOM!!"shouts sounds, tears fall, both pretending nothing happened,
the sister, huddles in her room, pretending to hear nothing.
A longer night of frights and wails, hoping its not real, a longer day of working hard and smiling, wondering if your face is cracking.
days fly by,night ends in a whirl, losing count of what round their on and for what,Sister reads and acts the part of the golden child.
Longest night of scars and tear drops, realizing its never ending,Longest day of cheerful lies and phony laughs, thinking you deserve an Emmy.
He comes home and it starts again......
